Our Verdict
I recently took the Anti Bite Wire Crab Cage out to test how it holds up against the local crustacean population. This 60cm net is designed for serious hobbyists and professionals who need equipment that can handle rough handling without failing.
Performance & Build Quality
The construction is immediately impressive, utilizing anti-bite wire that effectively prevents the typical damage caused by aggressive crabs. Its 60cm diameter provides a massive footprint, ensuring you have enough space to secure a solid haul in a single drop without worrying about structural integrity.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setting this cage up is straightforward, and the elastic shrinkage mechanism works flawlessly to keep the enclosure tight once it hits the seabed. I found the deployment to be intuitive, making it a reliable addition to my gear bag for long days out on the water.
This cage is ideal for dedicated crabbers and fishing enthusiasts looking for a durable, escape-proof solution for their underwater trapping needs.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this cage has earned a perfect 5/5 rating for its thoughtful design and rugged materials. Given the $49.00 price point, it is an essential upgrade for anyone tired of losing their catch to flimsy, standard nets.
